To sum up this teenager in just a few words those words would have to
be passionate, outgoing, bittersweet and sometimes even impatient!. Kaley has
said many times, "Before every show the worst part is waiting, it's like being
on a road trip and only being an hour away from home and you're missing your
favorite TV show." Home being the stage
where she can look out among friends and fans is where she knows she was born
to be. From the lyrics in her songs to
the passion in her soul music is the air she breathes. She began singing at the age of 8 and since
then has opened for acts such as: Craig Morgan, Michael Peterson, Rick Trevino, Asleep at the
Wheel, Aaron Watson and Kevin Fowler.
She
says one of the truest magic moments of music is singing the National Anthem,
which she feels it is her way of serving her beloved country. She has sung the National Anthem for events
such as: President George W. Bush's Homecoming, Vice President Cheney, The
All-around Ranch Rodeo in Oklahoma, Baylor University games, The Texas Motorplex in Dallas, Miss Rodeo America
pageant in Las Vegas and the Texas Stampede Rodeo at the
American-Airlines Center in Dallas.
Kaley
Caperton knows the meaning of country because she was raised on a ranch in
Texas. She grew up rodeoing & riding which eventually turned into singing &
writing. Kaley plays three instruments: guitar coming in first, piano in
second, and thrown into the pot- a little bit of mandolin! Kaley has been writing with many songwriters
including: Billy Austin, Aaron Barker, Dave Robbins, Jason Deere, Rodney Clawson and Kevin
Fisher. Three of her songs are on her
debut album: "You Loved It Away", "Where There's A Wall" and "Fly".
She loves music more than anything in the
world and believes that if she was stranded on a beach all she would need is a
guitar, a notebook and a pen!
Keep in touch because there's always gonna
be more music and more good times!
